Medical Advice

There's a woman doctor here who offered this tidbit. I think it makes sense, but it's something I've been thinking about -- Not saying she's right or endorsing it, but simply passing it along for you for what it's worth.

She believes women should shower at night, NOT put on deoderant to give your armpits a rest from checmials. Then put on deoderant in the morning. I don't know if your armpits NEED a rest from chemicals, but maybe they'd appreciate it.

Growing up I always took a bath at night, but most of my adult life I've showered in the morning. I find myself sometimes changing that now that I'm older so maybe intuitively I knew I was supposed to give my pits a break from chemicals.

Interesting! I typically shower in he morning too, but I have herd hat tidbit before. I've even heard that deodorant causes cancer but I don't think I believe that. For a while I used one of those natural solid stones that you wet with water. But it always seemed sticky and I don't think it worked that well :).
