Someone sent me this book while I was in the hospital, and I am just now getting to it. It is a Best Seller and also won the Pulitzer Prize. It's a very lenghthy book, but I'm slowly getting through it, and am enjoying it.
I thought it was almost a great book. Needed more editing. Should have been shorter. If you outline the story at the end, some parts were sooo long and repetitious. Maybe that was to develop the drug aspect. What did you think?

So far, I think there are interesting characters -- people I haven't "met" yet in other books, but I sort of agree about the length.
