Mary has now sobered up from last night and reports...

Fran and went to Busboys and Poets in Arlington last night to celebrate her birthday. She had a sea bass sandwich and i had a cubano sandwich and we shared a wonderful appetizer of shrimp and a grits cake. It was spicy and wonderful. We even asked for bread just to shop up the goodness.

I don't know if she means "slop up the goodness" or "sop up the goodness" but you get the picture.
