We're Having a Heat Wave
It's 5 pm and I still have a window open -- it was near 60 degrees today -- nice to get some fresh air inside. Mary says her daffodils are coming up prematurely -- don't know if they can go back down or what happens to them.

The daffodils do fine - they don't go back down, but I guess the part below ground survives even if the above ground leaves wilt. Here they almost always come up early, then endure the snow and the cold and come back in March or so.
