She says:
These are Spritz cookies made with a cookie press. The press was my mom's,
probably from about 1950. They are easy to make but hard to get just the right
amount of dough so you'll see some variation in the cookie sizes (btw, the
instructions spell it "cooky"). I followed the directions so I used Crisco and
almond extract. I could have used Mom's help....but it was fun.

I have one of those too. We always used the insert that makes "ribbon" cookies.
