I saw a copy of Charlotte's Web at a shop today for $4, and decided to buy it, remembering how much I admired it as a child. I read it this evening and it's quite good. The penultimate sentence in the book reminded me of YOU so I had to send it:
"It's not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good
writer. "

All of his books were wonderful. I've got my original copy of Charlotte's Web, and the Trumpet of the Swan. Still has my little brother's crayon scribbles in the indicia!
