More of Barbara's Garden

I think this girl has a green thumb! They lost some trees thanks to Superstorm Sandy and here are the changes that were made.

The stump of tree #1 has become a base for a planter of flowers.

 

Barbara says:  Large protruding roots are all that is left of tree #2, so we had to rebuild the bank there and planted some ornamental grasses.

 



 

Barb says:  I made a swing for myself in between the truncated trees #3 & #4, and planted peonies around tree #3.
