Mary Supplies Proof that Spring is Coming

Sunday's snowstorm in New York has been downgraded a bit to 3 to 6 inches of snow, rather than 12 Depending on the count, this will be either the second most snowy winter or the fifth most snowy winter, but we're moving up the scale.

In Mary's yard, however, her lilacs have buds on the and ther's some sort of bulb bursting up. Hopefully they will sruvive whatever part of this storm DC gets.

  1. I'm so glad we've got "southerners" like Mary on this blog to be our harbingers of spring...

  2. Well, we certainly are south of you guys but we're expecting more stuff - "forecasters said rain will change to freezing rain and sleet overnight, followed by the possibility of 8 to 12 inches of snow on Monday". It might end up 5th snowiest but it sure feels like the most winter weather events ever.
