This is my time to read books about marriage. Just finished "The Wife" which I really enjoyed. Meg Wolitzer is an amazing writer and I found on several occasions her describing things that had occurred to me but I never put words to it. Really a good book, a thought-provoking book, a quick read, easy to get into.
I have not started reading this one yet. What drew me to it is the premise that a long-married wife one day finds an envelope from her husband that says it should only be opened on the occasion of his death -- but she goes ahead and opens it anyway -- he's still alive and they're still married -- and it turns her world upside down. I have no idea what the secret is.
