Here we are looking north on a dark and dreary Connecticut Ave at 310pm. Roadbed still clear because cars are still moving. Snowfall growing heavier. But the amaryllis don't care....waiting for the third stalk to blossom. Should burst forth by Monday, like the rest of us blizzard-bound folks.

Nourishment

Since I can't take aspirin due to a drug I'm on, I did the next best thing: Matzo Ball Soup from Gracies! Never one to critique a nice set of balls, I wish these had been a bit smaller in order to get more broth... but man, it was good. And the balls were so well seasoned and fluffy. Quite healing.
